Our Delivery and Returns Policy

1 - Returns

We want you to be happy with your online purchases. The Sweat Shop wants to provide the best possible online experience. To achieve this goal, we need to be sure that our services run like clockwork. If, for any reason you’re not, you may return items purchased online to any Sweat Shop store for a full refund, replacement or exchange, provided you have the original tax invoice, and items are returned in a saleable condition within 15 days of purchase. Email craig@thesweatshop.co.za for a return or exchange request with your order number as a reference.

If you are not completely happy with your purchase you can return it to your closest store for free. You can also call our contact centre on +2711 3252567. You will be liable for the courier cost for any return and/or exchange. You may arrange your own courier or if you require us to arrange a pick up and/or delivery we are happy to do so.

We will refund the full value of your returned items using the same payment method initially used for the purchase.

2 – Delivery

You can expect a standard delivery time of three to seven days. By arrangement we can express deliver, normally two working days or overnight express in Johannesburg Cape Town and Durban. If you wish you can conveniently collect your parcel at one of our local pick-up points. Our prices include standard delivery, express delivery will be charged for separately. 

If no one is available to receive your purchase, we will try to arrange for an alternative delivery option with you, but reserve the right to charge you an additional delivery fee if we cannot reasonably do this and need to deliver at another date and time. For remote areas not serviced by standard couriers, we will deliver via Post Office, or to the nearest town. In these circumstances we will be in contact with you to arrange the drop-off address.

The Sweat Shop reserves the right to cancel an order for which payment has already been received. This may occur if stock is insufficient or the quality of goods ordered does not meet our standards. Should we exercise this right, you will receive a full refund with no deductions.

Cancelled orders on the e-commerce facility will be refunded after deduction of a 10% charge for administration costs.
