A smooth RIDE that feels good.
Saucony's RIDE 13 is a reliable long distance training shoe often used by runners as a 'daily trainer', a shoe cushioned for logging miles while still versatile enough to be able to pick-up the pace during up-tempo or interval runs. Within Saucony's range the RIDE is sandwiched between the lighter lesser cushioned KINVARA and more cushioned TRIUMPH. The update keeps paving the way to smooth miles with a more energetic feel.

UPDATES VS RIDE ISO 2
The first update as the name reveals, is that the ISO-Fit upper has been replaced with FORMFIT. Though many have enjoyed ISO-Fit over the past 2 years, FORMFIT offers a slightly more traditional and uncomplicated fit while still personalising the way the upper shapes to your foot. The engineered meshed material is strong and breathable while offering natural flexion.
Moving down to the midsole, the RIDE 13 now enjoys Saucony's new PWRRUN cushioning for increased responsiveness. The RIDE 13 is a tad firmer than the RIDE ISO 2, but in a good way, as there's the feeling of shock absorption but with a slightly more snappy ride.
The outersole now has greater blown rubber coverage for better wear and protection, which should make it more versatile if your road run happens to veer off-road.
