Fast and lightweight trail shoe, developed with the help of three-time UTMB winner Xavier Thevenard. It has a flexible rock plate under the forefoot, allowing runners to move quickly over rough rock- and root-strewn trails. Has an upper that is made to prevent debris from entering in the shoe and has an insole with pores which helps push water out of the shoe and away from the foot for the inevitable river crossings and wet conditions.
The Gel Fuji Trabuco SKY comes with elastic laces that are adjustable on the fly. The outsole features a trail-specific traction pattern with lugs precisely oriented on the medial side for the uphills and under the heel and lateral side for the descents. And the rubber material used is a rubber designed to grip on grip on wet trail surfaces. ASICS also used their signature rearfoot GEL pods within the shoe for added shock absorption.
